  1. Melt butter and oil and add the chopped onion and diced carrot. Heat through until soft.
  2. Add the lamb mince and keep stirring and heating until it's browned. Then add the herbs and heat for a while longer.
  3. Carry out iterations of adding milk and then letting simmer, until the desired consistancy is reached. Full fat milk is preferable. This stage can take a good 20 - 25 minutes or longer if mushiness is aimed for.
  4. Prepare the pasta in a separate saucepan. Bring together at the end.
