Heat some olive oil. Place bacon, onion, celery, carrot, and garlic in saucepan and heat for about 6 minutes, until soft. Add beef mince and wait until it has browned, stirring often to ensure no big lumps.

Pour in some wine and boil for 2-3 minutes, until reduced down. Mix in the tomato puree, stock and seasoning. Then simmer for as long as it takes for sauce to reach desired consistency. Add some milk whenever the sauce starts to dry out. Cook pasta while sauce is reaching desired consistency.
